Shark cartilage consists of three primary components; protein (containing collagen), chondroitin sulfate (mucopolusaccharide) and calcium.
The protein level in the cartilage of Japanese blue shark is more than 50%, meanwhile that of the other sharks is 40%. Better Shark and Super Shark products well-select and use only the cartilage of Japanese blue sharks.
