“Sparassis Crispa” having high β-glucan content
“SPARASSIS CRISPA G-Special” is produced from “Sparassis Crispa MH-3” having higher content of β-glucan than conventional Sparassis crispa. The originally improved technology has created β-glucan-rich “Sparassis Crispa MH-3”.
Sparassis crispa contains a substantial amount of 1-3 β-glucan compared to other kinds of mushrooms.

◆Sparassis Crispa MH-3
“SPARASSIS CRISPA G-Special” is a health food of Sparassis crispa produced from Sparassis Crispa MH-3 made by Minaherusu as a raw material.
Sparassis Crispa MH-3 is the mushroom mycelia developed and cultivated by Minaherusu Co., Ltd. and has been licensed by the National Institute of Bioscience and Human-Technology (Japan) (accession number:FERM P-17221).
This technology has enabled commercial mass production of Sparassis crispa which had been considered very difficult.
Sparassis Crispa MH-3 was granted a patend for the invention of “Sparassis crispa extract” on Sep. 12, 2008. (Japanese Patent No.4183326)


◆High β-glucan content
“SPARASSIS CRISPA G-Special” contains 220mg β-glucan per 4 tablets.
The analytical test by Japan Food Research Laboratories showed that 61.9g β-glucan is contained in 100g Sparassis Crispa MH-3 by dry weight
※Most of the β-glucan contained in Sparassis crispa is 1-3 β-glucan.
