Bitter Melon

Bitter melon (scientific name: Momordica charantia) is called Goya in Okinawa, a vine of the family Cucurbitaceae.
In Japan, it is mainly cultivated in Okinawa and southern Kyushu.
It contains a good balance of vitamin C, potassium, magnesium and calcium.
And its seeds are rich in conjugated linolenic acid.
