MAK Shoshisen is the extract from the reishi mycelium (root), instead of the fruiting body, which contains a high amount of nutrients before germination begins.

|What is Reishi?|
Mycelium, the strong root system of mushroom, consists of a mass of branching, thread-like hyphae.
And mycelium accumulates enough energy and nutrients to sprout a fruiting body. MAK is the extract from the cultured solid medium of reishi mycelium.

|Polysaccharides||Protein-binding polysaccharide (proteoglycan) composed of sizx kinds of monosaccharide such as arabinose, xylose, etc (pentose).|

|◆Difference between MAK and original reishi products|
As reishi mushroom is very hard, brewing is the most common way to intake reishi mushroom.
However, most of the beneficial components contained in reishi mushroom are eliminated from the body undigested because its hard cell walls made up of chitin and glucan protect the nutrients.
Therefore MAK is much easier to be digested and absorbed compared with other reishi products.
MAK is made up of the extract only from the reishi mycelium containing enough energy and nutrients to ferment.
Therefore MAX contains an abundance of nutrients such as polysaccharides that are not found in other reishi products, water-soluble lignin, essential amino acids, protein, vitamin B, minerals, etc.
